E and I have been furniture shopping lately. In particular, we were looking to find a nice bedroom set. From small stores to big department stores, we saw it all-- canopy beds, sleigh beds, straight beds, metal beds, small beds, big beds .. man... all this chat about beds is making me tired. Finally, after a whole lot of looking.. we got the bed! ... and the night tables, and the whatcha-ma-call-it... the french name thing.. its like a closet.. oh the tv armoire! hahaha.. and that's basically it. We can't fit the dresser in our room because it was pretty lengthy and chunky. Our room is kind of small to begin with considering we'll be living in a one bedroom condo. It'll be delivered this coming Saturday.
The wallpaper is now up and it looks awesome. We'll be moving the sofas, the TV, and the bar stools next weekend. So really, by next weekend, our condo will be ready! It was sooo much fun going around with teddy to shop for things. The funniest thing that happened yesterday was how E was trying out the mattresses. He looked so cute each time he layed down and I swear he was about to fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
When we went to Ikea to buy our lights, we ended up getting a whole lotta spotlights! eeeeeeeekkkk the condo looks stellar. We have a few things left to do like put up our way kewl circular mirrors and small shelves here and there... but we're done w/ all the big stuff.
This Sunday teddy and I are going to a Raptor's game!! Can't wait! We always make the game fun even when those boys don't play too well hahaha.
Monday I start a new job!! I'm so excited I just can't hide it! Graphic designer = me.
What's up with facebook and why is everyone using it? Geez its like a whole new world. I will never ever sign up for something like that. People are obsessed its just ridiculous. tsk tsk tsk.
