OK everybody... before you question yourselves as to why I did this... just realize that I have a neice.. a one and only lovely neice... who wanted to hear a certain person's "kind" of music. I heard the new CD from Paris Hilton today...The whole thing. I want to stick hot fire pokers in my ears so that I will never have to hear it again. Most of all, I want those minutes back that I wasted from my life's time clock so that I can put them to better use. Nah, that's mean of me to say but why oh whyyyy did Paris have to go and make a CD now? Was she not happy with all the free dough she gets to roll in already, and she wanted more? Oh how much I despise her.

On a better note, I got my wedding invites today! I had ordered them online and they came in. But get this! Can you beleive I had to pay $55 to cover brokerage fees and duties payable to the Country of Canada because it got shipped from the U.S.? How crazy is that? That is now my new definition for crazy. No offense to any UPS workers reading this btw. I just think its wrong for them to charge me on top of the almost $200 I spent on JUST PAPER. Nothing fancy--- yet.. That's for me to design and take charge of the decoration. DIY all the way :)

I also ordered other great wedding supplies online like bulk tulle, faux flowers, personalized ribbon and my oh so wonderful tiara and unity candle! Did I mention I bought my dress? And booked the flowers? And have a proposed cake decorator? Oh yeahhhhh baby. It's all in motion and the ball is definately rolling.

sounds like the end of summer eh? hahaha nooooot!!! there's still tons of summer left and lots of stuff to do still!!

so here i am, at home, on a beautiful summer day... not at work.. but i'm looking, and hopefully i'll find a great job soon! i've got a couple design jobs to do but i'm just so focused on the wedding and looking for a full time occupation.

soooo what's new w/ me u ask?

WEDDING STUFF
- my mom and i went shower shopping and everything is basically done for that.. all the prizes and gifts to be won.. as well as the decorations.
- the favors have been ordered and they are coming straight from greece, will keep you posted on when they arrive and how they look!
- centre peices are purchased, still need a few more though.
- this week i'm gunna buy my dress! more to come on that.
- i have an idea of the flowers i want, ofcourse they are going to be blue
- our colours are turquoise, silver, chocolate brown and sky blue.
- photo/video/dj/church/hall/limo ... all scheduled
- bridesmaid dresses... gotta look for those!
- garter is bought..
- lots of tulle for the arch is bought.
- that's basically all that i can remember for now :)

graduation coming soon... i just finished my last course EVER! social science-- sex, gender and society... blah! glad thats over. the exam was pretty tough because i ran out of time on the essay. i'm looking forward to graduating.. and finding a job!

teddy and i took a trip to niagara falls this past saturday and it was sooo much fun! i'm looking forward to more day trips as well as stay over trips with him. were so great together and we both still act like children... yes its a good thing cuz you have much more fun that way :) looking forward to next saturday at lia's cottage!!! woohooo.
